How I can help
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision in Surrey, BC with a Registered Clinical Counsellor of over thirty years’ standing. Supervision is a confidential professional space to bring live casework, ethical questions and the effects the work has on the clinician doing it. Available in person or online across British Columbia.
You might be here because
- You are carrying a case you cannot stop thinking about between sessions
- An ethical or boundary question needs a second clinical opinion
- You are newly registered and want structured, regular consultation
- The work is affecting you and you have nowhere professional to take that
- You want to develop in a particular modality with someone who practises it
None of that has to apply exactly. People often arrive unable to name what is wrong, and that is a perfectly good place to start from.
What the work looks like
Supervision here is reflective rather than directive: the work is to think alongside you, not to hand down answers. Sessions make room for case conceptualisation, ethical and scope-of-practice questions, transference and countertransference, and the vicarious load the work leaves behind. Cross-cultural practice is a standing part of the conversation — much of this practice is delivered across languages and cultural expectations, and supervision is where that complexity is best examined rather than managed alone. Arrangements are contracted individually; get in touch to discuss frequency, format and fee.
